The following arrests were reported on Saturday:

  • Cherce Janeil Webb, 33, of Pebblestone Drive in Durham, was arrested Friday and charged with embezzlement and conspiring to obtain property under false pretense. No bond was issued.
  • Samuel Timothy Mark Pounds, 27, of Mare Court in Bahama, was arrested Friday and charged with conspiring to obtain property under false pretense and embezzlement. No bond was issued.
  • Kendra Melissa Reyes, 26, of Bronwin Street in Charlotte, was arrested Friday and charged with conspiring to obtain property under false pretense and obtaining property under false pretense. No bond was issued.
  • Estora Karl Ensley, 27, of Spruce Street in Durham, was arrested Friday and charged with conspiring to sell or deliver marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute marijuana, maintaining a house used for keeping and selling a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released the same day from Durham County Jail on a $3,000 bond.
  • Demetriss Y. China, 30, of South Roxboro Street in Durham, was arrested Friday and charged with uttering forged endorsement, forgery of an instrument and obtaining property under false pretense. She was released the same day from Durham County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
  • Denari D. Johnson, 23, of Cherry Grove in Durham, was arrested Friday and charged with two counts misdemeanor possession of stolen property, two counts misdemeanor larceny, common law robbery,  misdemeanor conspiracy and felony conspiracy. According to the arrest report, Johnson took three cases of Corona beer from a BP gas station on Old Chapel Hill Road. He was still in Durham County Jail Saturday under a $7,500 bond.
