Durham, North Carolina, has been linked with Durham, England through Sister Cities International for nearly 40 years. Citizen exchanges, children’s choir tours and other activities have furthered the mission of promoting “peace through mutual respect, understanding and cooperation – one individual, one community at a time”. The good people in this far away yet somehow close-to-us town want to see what the “other” Durham looks like.
