Police investigate Durham robbery
DURHAM – Two men stood in their driveway on Farm House Lane on Tuesday, about 11 p.m., when a pair of men armed with guns robbed them and three other people.
Durham police investigators on Thursday reported that the robbers forced the men back into the house, where they took cash, cellphones and a wallet from all five people inside.
The suspects wore blue jeans, black shirts and masks. No charges had been filed late Thursday.
In other news:
- Jerry Dunston, 36, of Rosetta Drive in Durham was arrested Wednesday and charged with failure to report change of address as a sex offender. He was held in the Durham County Jail under $20,000 bond.
- Ronnie James Powell, 39, of Stem was arrested Wednesday and charged with breaking and entering, larceny, possession of a stolen automobile, possession of stolen goods and trespassing. He was held in the Durham County Jail under $65,000 bond.
