Police investigating Monday night shooting
DURHAM — Durham police are investigating a shooting Monday night about 9:18 p.m. in the 200 block of West Enterprise Street.
The 44-year-old victim was walking down the street when shots were fired by an unknown person in a dark-colored sedan, according to police.
The victim received a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his elbow. Police said a house in the same block was hit by bullets. No one inside the house was injured.
Search is on for GameStop robber
DURHAM – A man toting a shotgun while wearing a UNC baseball cap and “Bethesda Elementary School” shirt robbed an area GameStop early last week.
Police are looking to identify the suspect, described as a white male between 20 and 30 years old, about 6 feet tall. He was wearing camouflage cargo pants, shiny black sneakers, and black and white gloves.
Police said the suspect entered the store at 1533 Glenn School Road on July 1 about 8:34 p.m. He had a bandana over his face. He demanded cash from the business and a customer in the store.
No one was injured.
