Durham police investigate two shootings

Durham police are investigating two reported shootings that occurred early Friday evening.  

The first shooting occurred in the 2900 block of Firth Road. Officers arrived on the scene and found a male subject shot in the street. The male victim, whose name was not being released at this time according to authorities, was taken to Duke University Hospital with serious injuries.

The second reported shooting occurred at 111 E. Channing Court. A female juvenile was reportedly shot there. Her condition was unknown Friday night and her name was not released.
