Night-vision monocular stolen

DURHAM – Thieves broke into a house on Dec. 20 in the 2500 block of Preston Avenue and took a night-vision monocular, two laptop computers, $850, jewelry, two cameras and a pair of binoculars worth $10,626.

In other crime:

- A Glock 21 handgun and ammunition worth $600 were stolen Dec. 21 from a car in the 3300 block of Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard.

- A $200 pool cue was stolen Dec. 18 from a house in the 3500 block of Golden Heather Drive. Also take were $40 worth of coins.

- A kite was stolen Dec. 19 from a house in the 100 block of Prestwick Place. Also taken were clothes, jewelry, a man’s hat and gift card.

- A Samsung tablet computer, $20 and a DVD player were stolen Dec. 20 from a house in the 1100 block of Hearthside Street.

- Thieves stole five credit cards, a bank debit card and a GPS system Dec. 21 from a house in the 200 block of Southpoint Crossing Drive.
