Man arrested for running from cops
DURHA M – A Durham man was arrested after trying to flee from police during a traffic stop.
Spenser Cedric Wall, of Crest Gate Terrace in Durham, was arrested and charged with flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle after being accused of fleeing from Durham police on N.C. 55 during a traffic stop.
Wall was also charged with having a revoked driver’s license, reckless driving to endanger and resisting a public officer.
Wall was being held with a $7,500 secured bond.

Gerald Lamont Harns Jr., 24, of DeMille Street in Durham, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after allegedly having 22.5 grams of marijuana in his possession, a digital scale and using his 2006 Honda Accord for storing marijuana. He was being held with a $4,000 secured bond.
Andre Richard Knight, 20, of Danube Lane in Durham, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana up to half an ounce. He was being held with a $500 unsecured bond.
Asia Ezell, 22, of Century Oaks Road in Durham, was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon after being accused of stabbing a man in the back of the knee with a large kitchen knife. She was being held without a bond.
Travis Laquan Headen, 38, of Volkswalk Place in Raleigh, was arrested and charged with assaulting a government officer/employee, resisting a public officer and profane language on the highway after allegedly pushing and grabbing an officer’s shoulders while the officer was investigating a domestic incident. Headen is also accused of not complying when the officer asked him to take his hands out of his pockets and pulling away when the officer tried to take him into custody. He was being held with a $2,000 secured bond.
Anthony Winstead, 57, of Fayetteville Street in Durham, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon after being accused of having a 22 caliber handgun in his possession. Winstead was previously convicted of second-degree rape in 1983.
