Man sought in Chapel Hill shooting

Chapel Hill police on Saturday sought a 23-year-old man in connection with a shooting that left another man injured.

Dennis Junious Clark faces a charge of attempted first-degree murder for allegedly shooting a victim multiple times in the 300 block of West Rosemary Street on Friday about 6:30 p.m.

He was taken to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, but his condition was not publicly known. He was not a UNC student, according to police.

The suspect fled the scene in a white sedan, police said.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call 911 or call Crimestoppers at 919-942-7515.  Calls to Crimestoppers are confidential and anonymous, and the caller may be eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
