Cop log: Durham police investigate hit-and-run

Durham police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred early this morning on East End Avenue near Angier Avenue.
A pedestrian – Sharon Hatley, 50, of Durham – was walking in the roadway on East End Avenue around 1:45 a.m. when she was struck from behind by a small white car, according to investigators. Ms. Hatley was transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The vehicle left the scene before officers arrived. Based on evidence at the scene, the vehicle should be missing the right front passenger window.

Durham police seek teen
DURHAM -- Durham police are trying to locate Kenneth Wayne Williams Jr. who was last seen on Aug. 18 on Cherry Creek Drive.
Williams, 16, was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes. He is known to frequent the McDougald Terrace and East Durham areas.
