Durham girl reported abduction attempt
DURHAM – On March 12, two men in an older model red pickup truck tried to get a girl into the vehicle, she said.
She told police that the incident happened as she walked home from a bus stop on Hudson Avenue near Ruffin Street about 4 p.m. She fled and was unharmed.
No similar incidents have been reported recently in Durham, according to police spokeswoman Kammie Michael.

• Antonio Rodney Hayes, 23, of Ross Road in Durham was arrested Sunday and charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle, injury to personal property, conspiracy, possession of stolen goods, obtaining property under false pretenses, larceny and financial card theft. He was held in the Durham County Jail under $1,241,000 bond.
• Cyril Ray High Jr., 35, of Destrier Drive in Durham was arrested Saturday and charged with aiding and abetting assault and battery. He was released from the Durham County Jail after posting $3,000 bond.
• Qunnita Alisha High, 35, of Destrier Drive in Durham was arrested Saturday and charged with common-law robbery. She was released from the Durham County Jail after posting $2,500 bond.
• Quinzell Corderrell Marrow, 27, of Henderson was arrested Sunday and charged with trafficking in opium or heroin and conspiring to traffic in opium or heroin. He was held in the Durham County Jail under $101,095 bond.
