P.F. Chang’s customers may have had card data compromised
Customers dining at the P.F. Chang’s at 6801 Fayetteville Road between Feb. 21 and June 11 may have had their credit and debit card data compromised.
According to a statement this morning, P.F. Chang’s is investigating a possible security issue involving 33 restaurant locations in the continental U.S. The Durham restaurant is one of the 33 locations.
The U.S. Secret Service alerted the company to the possible compromise June 10. The investigation is still ongoing.
P.F Chang’s has been processing credit and debit card data securely since June 11, according to the release.
The company urges customers dining during this time to review account statements and notify credit card companies of any unusual activity.
P.F. Chang’s has not yet determined that any specific cardholder’s data was stolen by the intruder.
