Break-in leads to several charges

A Durham man faces charges related to a break-in, according to a warrant. Shaun Michael Boehringer, of 2300 Cynthia Drive, has been charged with breaking and entering. The warrant states that Boehringer broke into an apartment that is the residence of a man and woman, with the intent to assault the man.

Boehringer also was charged with injury to personal property -- breaking and destroying a table and a lamp -- and injury to real property – damaging a storm door.

He was released on $2,500 unsecured bond and was ordered to stay away from the victims’ apartment. Boehringer is due in District Court Monday.

Cocain possession charged

A Durham man has been charged with felony possession of cocaine, according to a warrant. Jarrid S. Davis, of 2402 Stadium Drive, Apartment B, has been charged with felony possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia, a crack pipe, according to the warrant.

Davis was released on a $1,000 unsecured bond. His case was scheduled for District Court Monday. 

Woman faces drug charges

A Durham woman is facing drug charges, according to a warrant. Debra Denise Thorpe, of 402 N. Hyde Park Ave., Apartment B., was charged with felony possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia, baggies that were used to store the drug, according to the warrant.

She was released on $3,000 unsecured bond. Her case is scheduled for District Court Monday.

Man charged with drug sales

A Durham man faces charges of selling drugs and maintaining a dwelling house, according to a warrant. James Green, of 807 S. Duke St., Apartment 916, has been charged with possession with intent to sell, manufacture and distribute cocaine, the warrant stated.

He also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, baggies for storing the cocaine, and with feloniously maintaining a dwelling house for keeping and selling the drug, the warrant stated.

Green was released on $5,000 unsecured bond. His case is scheduled for District Court Monday.
