Bike to Bulls game July 14

DURHAM -  When the Durham Bulls take on the Gwinnett Braves July 14, GoTriangle encourages fans to bike to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Bike-riding Bull backers will get VIP treatment at DBAP for the 5 p.m. game, including bike valet service and a free bike check.

“We love the Bulls and we especially love that the park is right at the opening of the American Tobacco Trail.  Instead of driving to the park, we hope we can get many to swap their car for a bike,” says Lauren Parker, marketing manager for GoTriangle, Triangle Transit and DATA. “It’s a great way to stay in shape, see downtown Durham in a new way and cheer the Bulls to victory.”

GoTriangle is a partnership of public transportation agencies, and organizations funded to promote commuter benefits in the Triangle region of North Carolina: Capital Area Transit (CAT), Cary Transit (C-Tran), Chapel Hill Transit, Duke University Transit, Durham Area Transit Authority (DATA), the NC State Wolfline and Triangle Transit.
