Police have identified Kassie Graves as the 12-year-old girl critically injured when she collided with a truck Monday afternoon.

Graves was riding her bicycle near the entrance to the Bridges of Southpoint apartment complex when she ran a stop sign and hit the side of a pickup truck that was traveling north on N.C. 751 near Calibre Park Drive.

The driver of the pickup truck, Gary Harris, 59, of Haw River, was not injured, and no charges are expected to be filed against him.

Investigators said neither speed nor alcohol appeared to have been factors in the accident.

Graves was transported to UNC Hospitals after the accident.

N.C. 751 was closed for more than two hours following the accident.
