Community Watch workshop set

Registration is open for the Durham Police Department’s 2013 Neighborhood and Community Watch Workshop. The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Holton Career and Resource Center.
Hosted annually by the department’s Community Services Division, this year’s workshop will feature sessions on mental health outreach initiatives by police, Durham Emergency Communications Center and 911 hang-up calls, Durham County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services, and more.
