Rewards offered in East Durham holdups

CrimeStoppers rewards are being offered for information leading to arrests in three armed robberies earlier this month in eastern Durham. Investigators are looking at the possibility that the robberies are linked.
The first robbery was reported at 9:32 p.m. Dec. 3 at New Way Food Mart, 1907 Cheek Road. The second one occurred at 11:47 p.m. Dec. 5 at Durham Mini Mart, 1933 Holloway St.
In both cases, there were two robbers and the robbers were armed with guns. The robbers were described as black men in their mid-20s and wearing dark clothing and masks. The suspects in both robberies were last seen walking toward the 600 block of Hardee Street.
The third robbery happened early Dec. 11 at Domino’s Pizza, 3001 Holloway St. Two employees were leaving the business when two men wearing ski masks and armed with guns approached them and forced them back into the restaurant. The suspects demanded money and were last seen running toward Lynn Road with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.
Both suspects were dressed in dark clothing, ski masks and gloves.
