Thieves hit construction site
DURHAM – Pipes, valves, rods, bolt, nuts and other equipment were stolen Monday from a construction site in the 1100 block of South Mineral Springs Road. A police report listed the victim as Harrelson Utility Repair and Construction. The items were valued at $5,528.
In other crime:
- A Fuji bicycle worth $350 was stolen Sunday from a house in the 1200 block of Berkeley Street.
- Nine tires worth $900 were stolen Monday from Triangle Auto Brokers on North Roxboro Street.
- A bicycle worth $400 was stolen Sunday from a residence in the 700 block of Hardee Street.
- Police are investigating the theft of a lawn mower Tuesday from a home in the 400 block of East End Avenue. It was valued at $100.
