Man robs Roxboro Street bank
Police on Tuesday sought a scruffy-faced man, possibly in his 60s, in connection with a lunch hour robbery at Carter Bank & Trust on North Roxboro Street.
The man entered the bank about 12:25 p.m. and gave a note to a teller, demanding money. No weapon was seen, Durham police reported. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Witnesses described him as a dark-complected black male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a medium build and scruffy facial hair with some gray in it. He wore a black fleece jacket with a hood and black pants.
