Wichita police are investigating a shooting in the home where the father of Lucas Hernandez and his life-in girlfriend, Emily Glass, had lived. Glass was found dead of a gun shot wound and three suicide notes were found in the home.

No charges will be filed Wednesday in the death of Lucas Hernandez, according to District Attorney Marc Bennett. Bennett said investigators are continuing to follow newly developed leads and are awaiting the results of forensic examinations.
Wichita Police Chief Gordon Ramsay says the body recovered Thursday evening in Harvey county may well be that of missing 5 year old Lucas Hernandez. Ramsay said he body was found after a call from a private investigator had located the body.
