A 16-year-old from Durham, already accused of four robberies there, is now charged by Morrisville police with being part of a four-person team that robbed a Sheetz station and several customers and stole a car last week.
Daquan Lashawn Quincy was arrested in Durham on Oct. 28 and charged with multiple counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit that crime as well as possession of a stolen vehicle and two misdemeanor drug-possession charges.
The charges from Morrisville detectives are robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy and possessing a stolen vehicle. Police swore out arrest warrants Tuesday and served them in Durham on Wednesday.
Kincy was being held Wednesday in lieu of $303,000 bail, according to Durham jail records..
The Sheetz station on Chapel Hill Road was robbed early last Friday morning by four people, one of whom police said they believed was female. One person displayed a gun, they said.
They took a Jeep from one customer. It was found in Durham when Kincy was captured.
Morrisville police said they also have filed court petitions accusing two 15-year-olds from Durham in the robbery.
Durham police had said the day before the Sheetz was robbed that they were looking for him because they had charged him with committing four armed robberies of businesses within three days.
Three gas stations were robbed on Oct. 16 and one on Oct. 18, Durham police said.
Police said they had charged a 15-year-old in the Durham robberies. It was not clear if he was one of the teens whom Morrisville accused in the Sheetz stickup.
