Durham police are investigating a pedestrian-involved hit-and-run crash that occurred shortly after 6:45 p.m. Saturday.
A 30-year-old man was struck in the 1700 block of Kirkwood Drive by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene, police spokesman Wil Glenn said. The location is about 3 blocks east of Kirkwood Drive’s intersection with Guess Road.
The victim — who was not named by police — was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, Glenn said.
No other details, including suspect vehicle description, were available as of 10 p.m. Saturday.
