Family and friends of the 38 members of the Class of 2014 of Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill gathered on campus on Friday with the school’s graduates, faculty, and staff to celebrate Trinity’s fifth commencement exercises.
The N.C. School of Science and Mathematics graduated its 33rd class on Saturday on the school’s historic Durham campus. The 312 graduates in the Class of 2014 represent all of North Carolina’s Congressional Districts and 72 of the state’s 100 counties.
When voters go to the polls on Tuesday, they will be asked to fill four of the seven seats on the Durham Board of Education.
William Logan, principal of Hillside High School, was recognized as the 2014 Outstanding Young Educator by the North Carolina Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
