Several Duke teams post perfect APR scores
Duke University student-athletes nailed perfect Academic Progress Report scores for eight varsity teams, according to data released by the NCAA.
Teams at Duke that achieved a perfect 1,000 for the academic years ending in 2012-13 were:
- Men’s and women’s golf
- Men’s swimming and diving
- Women’s lacrosse
- Women’s fencing
The men’s basketball team ranked first in its conference in a tie with Notre Dame and Pittsburgh at 995. They were followed by Miami (990), Clemson (989), Syracuse (969), Virginia Tech (960), N.C. State (959), Florida State University (955), Maryland and Wake Forest (953), Boston College (951), Virginia (945) and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (938).
Duke’s football team scored 992, followed by Clemson and Georgia Tech (983), Boston College (981), Virginia Tech (977), Miami (972), Wake Forest (970), Syracuse (965), Pittsburgh (961), FSU (958), Virginia (956), Maryland and N.C. State (950) and UNC (938).
