UNC Latino Oral History Initiative wins NEH grant

The National Endowment for the Humanities has awarded $240,000 to a Latino oral history initiative at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The program, a collaborative effort of the Latino Migration Project, the Southern Oral History Program and the university's libraries, started in 2007 to document demographic transformations of the southern United States.
