UNC Habitat for Humanity kicks off student art show

UNC-Chapel Hill Habitat for Humanity is holding its Mixed Concrete art show this week, and student artwork sales will benefit families in Chapel Hill who need housing.

Mixed Concrete also serves as a gallery and professional launchpad for UNC student artists.

The event will be held at TRU Wine + Deli, 114 Henderson Street in Chapel Hill, this Saturday, Jan. 25 (10:30 a.m.- 2 a.m.) and Sunday, Jan. 26 (10:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.).

Art items for sale range from prints to handmade jewelry. There also will be a silent auction, and bidding ends Saturday at midnight.
