DURHAM — Durham Regent, an independent senior living community in Durham, will host the Triangle Thunder Cruisers’ Classic Car Show Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Durham Regent is at 3007 Pickett Road. The show is free and open to the public. Hot dogs and chips will be served for a donation to Outward Bound for Veterans.

The Triangle Thunder Cruisers own street and hot rods, antiques, muscle cars, and collectables. Each club member is encouraged to sponsor a youth and bring them along to cruises, car shows and civic duties.

Outward Bound for Veterans helps thousands of returning service members and recent veterans readjust to life at home through fully funded wilderness courses that draw on the healing benefit of teamwork and challenge through use of the natural world.
