Tenth Avenue North to perform at the Summit

Temple Baptist giving out Halloween bags, glow sticks
DURHAM – Temple Baptist Church will give away Halloween reflective bags and glow sticks Monday through Oct. 31. Office hours at 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily, and bags and glow sticks will be outside the office for the community. The church is at 4504 Sterling Drive in Durham. Bags and glow sticks will also be available on Halloween in the Eno Trace subdivision, at a table at the corner of Big Bluff Place and Lazy River. Temple Baptist Church wishes the community a safe Halloween.

Fall Festival on Saturday at Fletcher’s Chapel UMC
DURHAM – Fletcher’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 1919 Fletcher’s Chapel Road, will host a Fall Festival from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. There will be a Trunk or Treat, chili, hot dogs, games, cake walk and hay rides. Everyone is invited.

Fall Festival Oct. 31 at Aldersgate UMC
DURHAM -- Aldersgate United Methodist Church will host its annual Family Fall Festival from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 in its Family Life Center, 1320 Umstead Road. There will be food, games, a bounce house, cupcake walk, hay ride and Trunk or Treat. The event is free. Wear a costume.
