Merritt's CD asks listeners to 'meet her halfway'

Raleigh native Tift Merritt released a superb new album in February titled "Another Country," much of the material inspired by her recent sojourn in Paris. Merritt and her bandmates launched a tour behind the new CD in mid-March, and Saturday they arrive on home turf for a concert at Durham's Carolina Theatre.
