Nashville-based artist Doug Hoekstra is a double-threat guy. He's a singer-songwriter with an exceptional knack for penning story lyrics and a genuine gift for creating distinctive musical arrangements. Hoekstra's also an author. In 2006, Canopic Press published his wonderful collection of short stories and essays, titled "Bothering the Coffee Drinkers."
