Show good news; Somerhill's future may be bad

There is good news and bad news at Somerhill Gallery. The good news is that Joe Rowand, director and owner, is eager to continue in the art gallery business. The bad news is that he is still negotiating so is unable to reveal his final plans. Billed as the last Somerhill show at Eastgate Shopping Center, the opening for Bill Hickman's sculpture exhibition was a toss-up as to who the crowd loved the most -- Rowand or Hickman. In any event, it was a great afternoon and the mood was upbeat.
