-- Find out how you can be a part of helping internationals make their home in Durham. Attend the Volunteer Orientation for CWS-RDU on Monday at 5:30 pm. (112 S. Duke St.)
-- Would you like to tutor students after school? Youth Education for Savings Consortium (YES) is beginning an After-School Tutoring Program at Patterson Recreation Center. (2614 Crest St.)
-- Help put patient packets together at the Paper SLAM for Duke HomeCare & Hospice this Saturday, from 9 a.m. - noon.
-- Do you like kids and have some knowledge of soccer? Help coach elementary-age kids on the first Saturday of each month in the Police Athletic League.
-- Help a teen mother by driving her to DSS or home for an important parent training on April 4, 11 or 18. Drivers are needed at 3 and 5:15 pm to pick up or take home. Contact Nancy at (919) 681-1835.
-- Are you a tech guru? Help out Partners for Youth three-five hours a month. Tasks include website updating and newsletter lay-outs.
-- Do you like to fix things around the house? Be a part of Rebuilding Together of the Triangle’s Weekday Crew and help make house repairs that really change people’s lives.
-- Run a book drive for kids! Book Harvest distributes books around the Triangle to needy kids.
-- Help out at the Paws4Ever ReSale Store! All proceeds benefit the care and programs for animals.
