Game 1: (2 - 2) RATTLERS 39 vs. (3 - 1) TITANS 41 OT

This game was exciting from the start. The Titans are on a 3 game winning streak with the the DBL’s #1 ranked player DeVonte Barker leading the way. This overtime battle had DBL fans on their feet cheering and screaming. Barker lead all scorers with 19 points and snatching 12 rebounds. Rattlers’ coach Crump’s spirits were low knowing that his team had to compete without their star player and team leader Kyshaun Teet, who may have been the deciding factor of this game outcome.

Game 2: (3 - 1) HORNETS 46 vs. (1 - 3) BULLS 48

This game will go down in the books as one of the biggest upsets in DBL history. The 0-3 Bulls broke their losing streak by beating the undefeated 3-0 Hornets. The Bulls recently recruited point guard Mareion Upchurch who made an huge impact on the game. Hornets struggled because their leading scorer and team leader Jeremy Figueroa did not play. Kenneth Brewer lead all scorers with 18points and Upchurch contributed 14 points to help secure the win for the Bulls.

Game 3: (3 - 1) NUGGETS 57 vs. (2 - 2) KNIGHTS 54 OT

A nail biter and all out war between two DBL rivals. This game went into overtime on a controversy foul call by referee D. Edwards with no seconds left on the clock. The call put the Knights back in the game when it seemed to the crowd that the Nuggets already had won the game. The Knights was down by 2 points and the call sent Xavier Jones to the free throw line and he sank both shots with ease. Although somewhat distraught the Nuggets went into overtime focused to reclaim this win officially and they did. Dennis Gibbs(Nuggets) lead all scorers with 30 points.

Game 4: (1 - 3) FORCE 46 vs. (0 - 4) BANDITS 40

Both teams were hungry to conquer their first victory. Force newly recruited power forward Christian Terry dominated the game with a double double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. The Bandits recently recruited Emanuel Dunkins kept them in the game scoring 15 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. All year the Bandits have been very competitive however they can never seem to rally in the forth quarter to secure a victory.

Game 5: (1 - 3) WOLVES 32 vs. (4 - 0) DONS 55

This game was the topic of the week. Most DBL fans rallied for the Wolves(arguably the    most talented team in the league) to beat the DONS. The DONS started the game with their smothering defense and rattled their opponents early. No player on the Wolves team scored more than 8 points. A. Daye scored 16, T. Royster scored 15 and T. Davis scored 13 points for the DONS. By beating the Wolves by more that 20 points the DONS is sending out a strong message; “It’s not going to be easy beating the defending Champs”.
