-- Do you have a child who is disabled? Participate in Durham First In Families Letter of Intent Workshop, April 5, 10am-12. (3109 University Dr.)

-- Enjoy some family fun and volunteer at 2-3 hour shift at Family Fun Day for PinWHEELS for Child Abuse Prevention sponsored by the Exchange Family Center.

-- Do you enjoy Duke Gardens? Learn how you can volunteer at the gardens on Mon., April 7, from 10 am-noon. Meet at the Community Building near entrance.

-- Or you may want to help refugees who live in the Triangle. CWS-RDU’s Volunteer Orientation is Mon, April 7, at 5:30 pm.

-- Spread a love for reading by helping out at 4th Annual NC Day of Reading from 1-3 pm at Durham Public Schools Staff Development Center on April 12. (2107 Hillendale Rd.)

-- The Salvation Army of Durham, Orange and Person Counties is participating in a consignment sale. They need help taking down racks and tables and loading them into a U-Haul from 12:30-3 pm on Mon., March 31.

-- Do you know someone with MS? Pitch in and help with the 2014 Walk MS Triangle Event, April 5.

-- Are you skilled on the computer? Orange County Disability Council needs volunteers to help adults who have visual impairments with computer education in a classroom setting. Apr 22-May 15, Tues. and Thurs., 1-5 pm. (2551 Homestead Rd.)
