-- Do like arts and crafts? Or helping kids improve their reading? Pitch in and help with the Boys and Girls Club Summer Camp at the Salvation Army held from Jun. 16-Aug. 15.

-- Farmer Foodshare collects cash and food during area farmers markets. Staff a donation station and help feed the hungry in our area.

-- Summer camps need helpers. Pitch in at Duke Gardens or the Durham Arts Council.

-- Help pack food boxes and give out materials at the Veggie Van. Thursdays at Durham Technical Community College, Thursdays in Carrboro or Fridays at the Durham County Health Department.
