Durham is widely known as the Bull City as a result of a brand of tobacco that was made here. So strong is that legacy that a massive one-ton bronze bull nicknamed Major stands in CCB Plaza at Corcoran and Parrish Streets in downtown Durham.  It is but one of the pieces of public art for visitors to see and experience in Durham -- and he makes a mighty fine photo opportunity, too
