Week 6:

Game 1: (0-6)BULLS 46 vs. (6-0)DONS 82

The DONS shut down the Bulls’ star player Elijahio Taylor he scored only 11 points. DONS’ Christian Terry scored 23pts. with 14rbs., Jeremy Figueroa added 24pts. and Andre Christian dominated the boards grabbing 21 rebounds. Once again, Antonio Daye displayed stifling defense as well as contributing 14pts. for the win.

Game 2: (6-0)NUGGETS 97 vs. (2-4)WOLVES 49

The Nuggets has set the bar very high breaking two DBL scoring records. Nuggets Johnny Whitted now holds the DBL game high scoring title, he scored 41pts. with 17rbs., 7 Asst., 4 steals and 3 blocks. The Nuggets broke the DONS’ 86 points scoring record by scoring 97pts. in a one sided battle. Idee Johnson contributed 19pts. to the Nuggets making DBL history. Despite defeat Wolves’ Napoleon Dorsey played well scoring 15pts. and snatching 12 rebounds.

Game 3: (4-2)RATTLERS 65 vs. (0-6)BANDITS 30

The Rattlers played solid team ball, Coach Crump had his squad in sync. Everyone on the team contributed points and rebounds. Amir Allen scored a game high 20pts. with 11 rebounds. The Bandits seem to be out matched with all the teams in the league. Coach Stewart needs to do some serious recruiting and trades before the league trade  deadline.

Game 4: (3-3)HORSEMEN 44 vs. (6-0)KNIGHTS 53

Coach Houze and the newly revived Horsemen were put to the test matching up with the undefeated Knights. The Knights looked timid and the Horsemen didn’t seem hungry enough for the victory. Horsemen point guard Dontez Downey scored 20pts. but only had 1 assist. The Knights Kenneth Brewer scored 21pts. with 14rbs. to help seal their victory.

Game 5: (1-5)FORCE 36 vs. (2-4)HORNETS 51

The Force had no chance against the Hornets from the start. Their head coach was suspended out of the league because of major DBL violations. And their star player Raekwon Scott had to sit out the first half because he violated a DBL guideline. Hornets took full advantage of Scott’s absence, securing a 17pt. lead at halftime. Hornets DeVonte Barker scored a game high 17pts. with 8 rebounds.

Week 7:

Game 1: (3-4)Horsemen 56 vs. (5-2)Rattlers 63

This game was very competitive from the start. This was Horsemen’s Coach Houze biggest challenge since taking over as head coach 3 weeks ago. The Horsemen looked good but they somehow didn’t seem hungry enough. However the Rattlers never slowed down their tempo and played the game like champions. The Rattlers’ Kyshawn Teet lead all scorers with 20pts., Kelvin Ford and Ameer Allen both scored 14pts. each.

Game 2: (3-4)Hornets 62 vs. (0-7)Bulls 50

The Hornets played a solid game but the Bulls had a chance to take the game over several times. The Bulls substitute coach Crump had them boys believing in themselves. But Hornets’ star player DeVonte Barker made sure he kill the Bulls spirits by scoring 21pts. and snatching 20rbs. Raekwon Taylor scored his career high of 17pts. as the Hornets claim their victory.

Game 3: (6-1)Nuggets 35 vs. (7-0)Black Knights 41

One of the most anticipated games of the season. Both teams was undefeated and both coaches talked smack to one another for bragging rights. Knights’ Coach White displayed great sportsmanship after claiming their victory. Knights’ star guard Xavior Jones  scored game high 24pts. as he executed their offense and dissected the Nuggets defense.

Game 4: (1-6)Bandits 43 vs. (1-6)Force 40

Although the Bandits got their first win, this game was a nail biter and victory didn’t come easy. The Force battled without their number draft pick, Raekwon Scott and the Bandits new recruit, DaQuan Scott dominated the game. Scott scored 20pts. and 7rbs.

Game 5: (2-5)Wolves 36 vs. (7-0)DONS 46

The last game of the night and the least entertaining. The DONS played an unimpressive game as they struggled to dominate the game. The Wolves played well however they were no match for the mighty DONS. Jeremy Figueroa of the DONS, scored the game high of 19pts.
