Pearsontown Elementary School gymnasium was filled with more than 100 children for an after-school bicycle safety presentation on April 24th.

Ryan Connolly, a senior associate attorney at Pulley, Watson, King & Lischer, P.A., and an active cyclist and triathlete, was excited to share his passion about bicycle safety with the young students.

Connolly, who focuses his work on business law and personal injury, especially cases that involve cyclists, said the kids were very engaged and asked all kinds of great questions. He stressed the importance of always wearing a helmet, dressing in bright clothing, checking your equipment to make sure it’s safe, and to always follow the rules of the road.

The school held a bike helmet raffle for the student in kindergarten through fifth grade.  Pulley Watson provided goody bags with bike safety games and activities, and held a drawing for a new bicycle.  Nicholas, a first-grader, was the lucky winner of the bike.
