Employees cited for selling to underage buyer
CARRBORO – Officers with the Alcohol Law Enforcement Team (ALERT) conducted compliance checks at a number of restaurants in Chapel Hill and Carrboro to determine if their employees would sell alcoholic beverages to people under the age of 21 last week.
Employees at Carrburitos, Amante’s Pizza and Tres Amigos in Carrboro sold malt beverages to an underage buyer. The employees were cited for selling a malt beverage to a person under 21.
Woman charged with DWI after collision
CARRBORO – Police charged Margaret Bridgid Rosier, 46, with driving while impaired Tuesday after she was involved in a vehicle collision on West Main Street at N.C. 54.
“The driver of the vehicle that caused the collision, Margaret Rosier, was obviously impaired,” a police report said.
Rosier registered a blood alcohol level of .16, according to the report.
