Chamber presents Business of the Year awards

The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce announced the 2012 Business of the Year award winners at its annual meeting held at the Sheraton Hotel in Chapel Hill recently.
The 2012 Sustainable Business of the Year was Harrington Bank.
The 2012 Chamber Ambassador of the Year was Helen Antipov of Comfort Keepers.
The 2012 Small Business of the Year was TOPO Distillery.
The 2012 Midsize Business of the Year was Mediterranean Deli.
The 2012 Large Business of the Year was the Chapel Hill Restaurant Group.
The 2012 Non-Profit of the Year was Extraordinary Ventures.
The 2012 Duke Energy Citizenship and Service Award went to Holden Thorp, chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The 2012 Chair’s Award for Public-Private Partnership was awarded to George Cianciolo and Rosemary Waldorf, co-chairs of Chapel Hill 2020.
