Ephesus–Fordham forum Thursday

Feb. 15, 2014 @ 02:26 PM

A public information meeting will be held Thursday to discuss the future of the Ephesus Church Road and Fordham Boulevard area.
One of many outreach opportunities for the DESIGN Chapel Hill 2020 project, the forum will be from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in Room B of the Chapel Hill Library at 100 Library Drive.
Following the presentations at 4:30 and 5:30, attendees can visit various tables setup with information on various topics including stormwater, affordable housing, transportation and zoning.
Town staff will be on hand to answer questions about the renewal efforts of the Ephesus Church-Fordham Boulevard area, provide feedback and learn how the town will respond to community interests in the project.
The area being discussed is surrounding Ram’s Plaza near the intersection of Ephesus Church Road and Fordham Boulevard from South Elliott Road to Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery.
The Chapel Hill town council adopted a small area plan in 2011 for the area that defined future uses and offered possible solutions to the transportation network to encourage reinvestment in the area.
