Heather Rose Clare Kileff and Robert Preston Hutchins were married April 19th, 2014 at University Presbyterian Church in Chapel Hill, with the Reverend Robert Dunham and the Reverend Dr. Ernest T.Thompson III officiating. A reception was held at a private home after the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Dr. Moyra Kileff and Mr. Brian Kileff of Chapel Hill. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kileff and the late Mr. and Mrs. David Marshall, all of Harare, Zimbabwe. She is a graduate of East Chapel Hill High and received her Bachelor of Arts and Master's in English degrees at the University of Virginia. She works in social media and marketing with VIETRI.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Robert Hutchins and the late Dr. Robert Hutchins of Wilmington, NC. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Harold R. Hutchins and Mrs. Dorothy Morgan Hutchins and of the late Dr. and Mrs. Robert T. Pigford, all of Wilmington, NC. He is a graduate of New Hanover High School in Wilmington and received his Bachelor of Arts, Master's of Public Health, and Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
The bride was escorted by her father. Matrons of Honor were her sisters, Holly Kileff Borham of Princeton, NJ and Angela Kileff Hill of Chapel Hill, NC. Maid of Honor was Catherine Belle Meador of Nashville, TN. Bridesmaids were the sisters of the groom, Emily Selden Hutchins and Elizabeth Katherine Hutchins, of Wilmington, NC; Sarah Marie Hamilton of Atlanta, GA; Erin Marie Lanzo of Baltimore, MD; Lucy Mead Partain, of Durham, NC; Sloan Celette Skinner of Austin, TX; Katherine Cord Walton of Chapel Hill, NC and Catherine Sands Woodward of Philadelphia, PA. Caroline Ella Borham, of Princeton, NJ, niece of the bride, was the flower girl, and Georgia Etta Hill and Lucy Moyra Hill of Chapel Hill, NC, also nieces of the bride, were junior flower girls. The Best Man was Andrew Lauren Remington of Birmingham, AL. On the evening before the wedding, the groom's mother hosted a dinner in the State Dining Room at the Morehead Planetarium. Following a honeymoon in South Africa and Mauritius, the couple will reside in San Francisco where the groom will be a resident in Internal Medicine at UCSF.
