McKinney tapped as ad agency for Royal Canin’s U.S. business

DURHAM – Durham-based McKinney was named as the advertising agency-of-record for pet food provider Royal Canin’s U.S. business, according to a news release sent Monday.
McKinney is part of the South Korea-based global advertising network Cheil Worldwide. Its clients include Nationwide, Nationwide Financial, Travelocity, Samsung, Meijer, Sherwin-Williams, Gold’s Gym, Mizuno, CenturyLink, Dognition, Big Boss Brewing and Urban Ministries of Durham.
For Royal Canin, McKinney will provide creative services for print, digital and point-of-purchase material for the company’s science-based products, according to the release. France-based Royal Canin is a segment of Mars Inc.’s petcare unit. Its U.S. headquarters is in St. Charles, Mo.
The Royal Canin product line includes pet food to meet size, age, breed, lifestyle and therapeutic requirements, according to the release. Its products are available at veterinary hospitals and pet specialty stores nationwide.
