McKinney announces promotions
DURHAM – The Durham-based advertising agency McKinney has announced the promotions of two employees.
Will Chambliss, associate creative director who joined McKinney in 2010 from Arnold Worldwide, has been promoted to creative director.
Associate Creative Director Owen Tingle, who came to McKinney in 2005 from The Creative Circus, has also been promoted to creative director.
"Will and Owen have both demonstrated the ability to consistently deliver at a high level and to achieve strong business results for many of our clients,” Chief Creative Officer Jonathan Cude said in a prepared statement in a news release. “I couldn't be more thrilled for them to be moving into these positions."
Chambliss began his career as a copywriter at Fitzgerald+CO in Atlanta, where he worked on Coke, Durex, Quikrete and Aruba. He also worked at Arnold in Boston, where he produced a Super Bowl spot for ESPN, among other work.
More recently, he worked on the Join the Nation campaign for Nationwide Insurance at McKinney.
Tingle joined McKinney in 2005 after running a family-owned-and-operated moving business with his father. Tingle directed his very first commercial "The Play" in 2006 for Sony. He has spent the past 18 months working on campaigns for Nationwide Insurance and Big Boss Brewing, including a beer-dispensing arcade game, “The Last Barfighter.”
Castlewood announces outreach regional director
DURHAM -- Castlewood Treatment Centers has hired Teresa Tipton as the new director of regional outreach – East Coast.
She will be responsible for the evaluation and implementation of the marketing strategy and will represent Castlewood at national and regional conferences to promote Castlewood’s nationally accredited programs.
In addition, she will work with the marketing team to build key relationships with various treatment professionals across the eastern seaboard.
Castlewood is a St. Louis, Mo.,-based eating disorder treatment center.
