Get a pint and a plate

‘Plate’ coming soon to Triangle Pint: Triangle Brewing Co. Pint & Plate, the bar opened by the founders and owners of Durham’s craft brewery Triangle Brewing Co., is expected to have its kitchen up and running soon, said co-owner and co-founder Andy Miller.

Miller said they have some “rough outlines” of the planned menu and are working on staffing the kitchen now. He said they’re planning to serve high-end sandwiches and appetizers. They hope to be able to open the kitchen in two to three weeks.

“We are so close; right now it’s just the logistics of making it happen,” Miller said. “We’re getting the kitchen basically put together and signed off by the city, and once we get all that, we’re ready to move forward, trust me,” he added.

The bar serves Triangle’s beer on draft, and also serves brews from other North Carolina beer in bottles and cans. The bar – and soon to be restaurant – is at 802 W. Main St. in the location that previously housed The Roxy.
