A look at US airlines' domestic capacity cuts

AirTran Airways: Plans for capacity to fall 7 percent to 8 percent between September and December. Alaska Airlines: Its parent company has said the carrier's fourth-quarter mainline capacity will be cut by 5 percent compared with 2007.
