Food & Beer Experience Feb. 24

Bull City Food & Beer Experience: In case you missed the earlier reports in The Herald-Sun, there will be a ticketed indoor food and beer festival held at the Durham Performing Arts Center on Feb. 24.
Ticket holders will be able to sample food from local restaurants and local as well as national breweries. There will also be live music. All ticket holders must be 21 years of age or older.
The event is presented by Sam’s Quik Shop and Tyler’s Restaurant & Taproom. It’s a fundraiser for the Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association.

Kid’s Kloset: A children’s clothing store, Kid’s Kloset, is opening in a 1,400-squrae-foot space next to Harris Teeter in the Hope Valley Commons shopping center.
The center is located at the intersection of N.C. 751 and N.C. 54 in Durham.

Printing shop at Northgate: The P Press, a custom printing and apparel design store, has opened at Northgate, according to a news release from the mall.
The shop opened in space No. 444, which previously housed American Holiday, a temporary holiday gift shop. It’s located across from the Customer Service Center.
The shop’s apparel design services include QR code clothing printing that can be scanned to websites and apps.
In addition, it also has 3D printing technology that creates custom-designed products such as mobile phone cases, earrings and bracelets.
