Weejee Learning announces employee addition
DURHAM – Weejee Learning announced that Eric Andrikaitis has joined the company as an interactive strategist.
The position is new and fits Andrikaitis’ skill set, which is a combination of motion graphic design, illustration skills and creativity.
He joins the team with more than a decade of related experience and will work to incorporate client branding and Weejee’s instructional vision into impactful, innovative e-learning user interfaces.
He was previously with Cisco Systems as multimedia program manager and lead multimedia designer for e-learning. He also previously worked for Campbell Alliance and Centerline Digital in Raleigh, as well as Digitaria Interactive in San Diego.
Weejee Learning is a global provider of custom and interactive e-learning solutions for corporations, non-governmental organizations, associations and nonprofits. The company was founded in 2010 and is based in downtown Durham.
BioCryst announces board member
DURHAM – BioCryst Pharmaceuticals today announced that Dr. Fred E. Cohen was elected to the company's Board of Directors.
Cohen is a partner and managing director at TPG Biotech. He has been a member of the faculty of University of California, San Francisco since 1986, where he has served as an internist for hospitalized patients, a consulting endocrinologist and as the chief of the division of endocrinology and metabolism.
Currently he serves on the boards of Genomic Health, Quintiles Transnational and of several private companies.
