The Durham-based entrepreneurial support organization CED announced Monday the upcoming launch of a two-part program designed to teach the essentials of raising capital.

The series, called “Raising the Dough,” is scheduled from 3 to 8 p.m. Jan. 29 and Feb. 5 at the headquarters of the Research Triangle Foundation of North Carolina.

The program is targeted for entrepreneurs at technology companies who are preparing to raise seed or Series A funding rounds. It will address alternative fundraising options such as crowdfunding, grants and bootstrapping.

The first day will cover the funding landscape and present options that early-stage tech companies will encounter in the fundraising markets in 2013 and beyond.

The second day will provide each entrepreneur with one-on-one coaching from investors and CEOs.

Registration is available online at www.cednc.org/event/fundingseries. The platinum sponsor for the series is Hutchison PLLC. The silver sponsor is Vaco. The Research Triangle Foundation is the host sponsor.
