Man arrested in June shooting
Demario "Dee Dee" Martin was arrested on Seven Oaks Road today by the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force. He's now in the Durham County Jail under a $1 million bond.
He was wanted for attempted murder and other felony charges after a shooting call took police to the parking lot of a convenience store in the 2900 block of Holloway Street just before 5:30 p.m. on June 18. The victim, a 36-year-old man, had been shot on Hursey Street and drove himself to the store to get help.
