Warrant issued in Andrews Chapel Road homicide

Durham County sheriff's deputies have charged Manuel Alejandro Lainez, 33, with first-degree murder in connection with the Dec. 11 murder of Saul Botello Abrimz on Andrews Chapel Road.

Lainez, previously sought as a person of interest, remains at large. He's also wanted in the theft of a white 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport with North Carolina license plate BMP3978 and a red and black 2005 Honda CBR 100RR motorcycle with North Carolina license plate 5M9083. Both vehicles were stolen from the Andrews Chapel Road residence after the murder.
